Coral Sun Fiji Ltd - Nadi

I and my family travelled from Suva to Nadi on the 30 October, 2012. There were 6 of us which includes 3 adults (2 prepaid and 1 paid on embarking), 2 children and an infant. I would say that the value of our tickets were more than the other passengers as they either travelled invidually or in pair. We had about 53kgs worth of baggage which includes 1 big box, 2 big travelling bags, 2 bush knives rolled in a small rug, 1 pram. There were about 8 other passengers including 1 child boarding at the Holiday Inn that 7.10am with us. Everyone I think enjoyed the trip to Nadi and on drop offs at the hotels I noticed the hostess would disembark at each hotels for reason which I'm not aware off. Before reaching our destination (the Grand Melanesian Hotel) we dropped off two pax at the Mercure Hotel first. Here the bus had the courtesy to turn into the drive way of the Mercure Hotel and let the two pax off who had little bags. The hostess also disembarked to see them off the bus. When it was our time to be dropped off at the Grand Melanesian, the bus just stopped at the pocket side of the main road and did not turn into the driveway of the hotel. When the bus stopped the hostess just back at me, smiled and said Melanesian Hotel!. My family disembarked on the foot path and the driver took our stuff off and left us there stunned, even my two grandchildren questioned me why the bus didn't drop us closer to the entrance of the hotel but on the opposite side of the road. It took us a while to walk over to the hotel myself having to lift and carry the stuff to the hotel. It's thumbs down to the bus driver and the hostess and we will never ever travel on your bus again. Add to this when I asked the hostess to give me a ticket for the extra pax she said it's okay because I've paid for her???
